Campa Account Deletion Policy

This Account Deletion Policy applies to the Campa mobile application, published by Stichting Volt There.

Stichting Volt There acts as the data controller for all personal data processed through the Campa app.

How to Request Account Deletion

Users may request the deletion of their Campa account at any time by email.

To request account deletion:

  1. Send an email to voltthere@voltnederland.org
  2. Use the email address associated with your Campa account
  3. Clearly state that you are requesting account deletion

No additional steps, in-app actions, or forms are required.

Data That Is Deleted

Once an account deletion request has been processed, Stichting Volt There permanently deletes the following personal data:

  • Account profile information, including name and email address
  • Authentication and login credentials
  • User-generated content associated with the account
  • App usage data that can be directly linked to the user

Deleted data is removed from active systems and cannot be restored.

Data That May Be Retained

In accordance with Article 17(3) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), certain data may be retained where strictly necessary, including:

  • Data required to comply with legal, regulatory, or statutory obligations
  • Minimal records necessary to demonstrate compliance with data protection obligations, including proof that a deletion request was fulfilled
  • Aggregated and fully anonymised data that can no longer be linked to an identifiable individual

Any retained data is securely stored and is not used for marketing, profiling, or behavioural analysis.

Retention Period

  • Account deletion requests are completed within 30 days of receipt.
  • Personal data retained for legal or compliance purposes is kept only for the minimum period required by applicable law.
  • Fully anonymised or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely, as it does not constitute personal data under the GDPR.

GDPR Rights

Users have the right, under the GDPR, to:

  • Request access to their personal data
  • Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Request erasure of their personal data
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
