Diaspora Balkan Tour
The Balkan Diaspora Tour is about you—your voice, your power, and your role in shaping the future of Europe. As Albanians living abroad, you are vital to both your host countries and your homeland. Your experiences, ideas, and values are bridges between Albania and Europe, and we believe in the strength of those connections. This is also your opportunity to shape the story of Albania in Europe.
Volt There financed the Diaspora Tour as we believe building bridging between people is needed for a strong democracy and Europe.
Euromancer Comic Strip
It is a Peanuts-type comic strip, created by Izar Lunaček, that philosophizes and romanticizes about the future of the European Union. It will be a monthly strip - the equivalent of what you could find in newspapers in the past. The goal is to provide a funny, smart and accessible format to build consciousness about the European Union and how it needs to improve.
Volt There financed this Comic Strip because of its innovative way of creating European awareness.
Danish Democracy Festival Folkemødet
Citizens and decision-makers meet up at Folkemødet in beautiful surroundings and engage in dialogue. Folkemødet are created in co-operation with political parties, grassroots and different associations and companies. Everyone contribute with interesting debates, presentations, cultural events, speeches, workshops and much more.
Volt There supported a team to be part of this festival to give them the opportunity to showcase what Volt believes in.
European Party Funding Observatory
Political parties are cornerstones of modern representative democracies, and transparency on their funding is essential. At the European level, this transparency is not provided. The European Party Funding Observatory provides clear visualisations of European parties' public and private funding, as well as spending, to inform citizens about their parties. It ensures that public data is not merely published, but actually visible and understandable by citizens.
Volt There financed this initiative because of its aim to transparent funding, and continues to support its growth.
States General of Italian Political Financing
Create a manifesto on the democratic, transparent and fair financing of Italian politics, in collaboration with other political forces, associations specialised in the subject and the academy. Make this manifesto operational through the involvement of members of the Italian parliament and the subsequent writing of a bill together with them. The goal of this manifesto is to promote good practices in the inclusion of code of ethics, transparency norms, control procedures for avoiding conflicts of interest, and much more.
Volt There helped finance part of this Manifesto initiative because of its relevancy and importance of collaboration with other parties.
Timeless drama on Pericles's Funeral Oration
We aim to promote Volt Greece’s presence in the city of Thessaloniki in an innovative-alternative way, far from the current approaches of the other political parties. In addition, we plan to promote democracy, the ongoing necessity of citizen engagement in the commons (considering that only around 50% of voters participated in the most recent national elections) and Volt’s political vision for citizenship empowerment under the lens of the European elections 2024.
