ECHO-ing: E-learning Platform Launch
Our e-learning platform, ECHO, has officially launched this month! ECHO stands for ‘Empowering Citizens, Helping Organisations’. As the name suggests, the platform is built for citizens and organisations that want to strengthen democracy in their community. After blood, sweat, tears, as well as many smiles, we are very happy to announce that the platform is now available for use!
Political Party Course
As some of you might have guessed in the last newsletter, the first course that we launched is the Political Party Course! We are excited for you to try it out!
Are you someone who has always been interested in what it takes to start a political movement? Or wanted to see which elements you need for a political party. Or maybe you are already part of a political organisation, and you want to think critically on how elements are organised? This is for you!
Plus, don’t hesitate to share in your network!
Volt General Assembly: Bratislava
The weekend of 13-14 June marked the Volt Europa General Assembly in Bratislava, Slovakia. As a sister foundation of Volt Nederland, we obviously also went to the GA!
The GA
At the GA, we had a market stall for a few hours. It was a great success! We got to introduce ourselves to a lot of people via talking, showing our posters, and offering our ECHO quiz. We loved meeting all of you!
With our beautiful purple wishing well, we promoted our new online learning platform ECHO, which just launched! With our wishing well, we asked people what their dreams are for democracy. A summary of the dreams is displayed in the diagram.
Together with our board and our focus chapters, we had an insightful lunch where we talked about future plans and projects for the chapters. It was a nice opportunity to talk with everyone in person instead of a screen!
Goodbye, Interns! Hello, Summer!
The beginning of July marks the end of our VoltThere interns! They worked with us starting February and will be followed by another delegation of interns soon. We are super happy with everything our interns did these past few months, and we will miss them!

I had a lot of fun working at VoltThere! I mainly worked on our online platform, specifically the EU course. I really enjoyed being part of the team and learned a lot from this experience! Wishing the team all the best and lots of success in the future!

I really enjoyed my time at VoltThere! I was involved in many different things, such as this wonderful newsletter, our events we hosted, our election activation campaign for the Hungarian elections and much more. I loved working in such a dynamic and fun environment! I always felt taken seriously when working in a small team, and my colleagues were all fun to work with! I wish everyone the best of luck!
