The elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina were a turning point: is the country heading toward Moscow or rather toward European integration? On 12 March 2024, the EU gave the green light to open accession negotiations, nevertheless, the road to membership is still a long way.

A large part of the Bosnian population lives abroad, spread across the world. However, only a small part of the diaspora actually votes. We wanted to reach this group, inform them where needed, and make clear that their vote matters. Important, this is not a one-off project but a long-term effort. This campaign is therefore far from over: this is only the beginning.

The campaign consisted of videos and graphics that make the country’s complexity easy to understand. They covered, among other things, the complicated system of government, the ethnic and political tensions, and Bosnia’s role in the geopolitical tug-of-war in the Western Balkans.
