Mental Health Matters
Aim & process
⚡️ Aim: The event represents an opportunity to reflect on current policies, specially at Regional level, and suggest practical improvements for those facing these challenges in daily life.
👯♀️ Target group: Young adults between the ages of 25 and 35. This group is crucial because of its closeness to the mental health issues addressed but also for its potential to become an active resource in supporting and promoting positive changes within the community. We focus on individuals open to becoming activists or members of Volt, with the goal of encouraging more active and aware participation in mental health initiatives and the development of more inclusive policies. Second, decision makers: through territorial connections and associations working on the ground. The importance of having decision makers is critical to ensure that the discussion event can then go forward. Third, Family and social care experts, because Volt is “evidence-based”, which means it is important for us to address the changes to the people who are facing these situations every day and hear what they have to say.
🙏 Collaboration: By creating a safe environment to exchange and learn from professionals in the field, families, and anyone interested in improving understanding and approaches to mental health.
✔ KPIs: 1) elevate awareness and understanding around the complexities of mental health, particularly regarding young people and individuals with particular conditions, such as autism. 2) attract the attention of new members interested in joining our cause, 3) through sharing knowledge, experiences, best practices and Volt vision, we aim to spark concrete actions among professionals, policymakers, and the community at large, to develop more effective and inclusive support networks, and 4) a substantial improvement in the way society approaches mental health, ensuring that anyone facing these challenges feels not isolated but supported, understanding the vital importance of a caring and informed community.
