Dear FIRSTNAME, welcome back to the VoltThere newsletter, where we will share progress from our projects, developments with our partners, and milestones from our training platform, ECHO. Through this newsletter, we aim to keep you informed and connected across Europe and beyond. This newsletter also aims to hear from you: your thoughts, experiences and projects!

ECHO is finally live!
After a few bumps in the road with IT (thank you for your patience!), we’re thrilled to announce that our online learning platform, ECHO, is officially up and running!
Say hello to ECHO
As of now, you can dive into the first few modules of the courses: How To Build A Political Organisation, Doing Politics Differently, and EU Politics. More modules will be on the way, including political party board and community strategising. This is just the beginning, we’ll keep adding fresh content, so there’s always something new to learn!
Go take a look at platformecho.org and, as always, feel free to spread the word and share ECHO with your network.
Why movement matters
Crossing a border in Europe can feel effortless, but that ease isn’t guaranteed, and it’s increasingly being tested. That’s why we made a new video: “Why Youth Mobility Matters for Democracy in Europe“, exploring what free movement actually means for the people who live it, and why it’s now up for debate.
Freedom in motion
We look at how programmes like Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps have given young Europeans their first real taste of open borders since 1987, over 13 million people have taken part. Add an Interrail ticket and the right to work in any EU country, and you get a Europe where daily life itself crosses borders.
But we also dig into the cracks: migration debates reshaping policy, countries like the Netherlands and Denmark scaling back international student numbers, and growing concerns about brain drain and housing pressure. Borders that once felt invisible are becoming visible again.
Curious how that freedom has shaped you?
Election activation campaign kick off
on Bosnia and Herzegovina!
This month, we officially launched our election activation campaign on Bosnia and Herzegovina, ahead of the country’s elections on October 4!
Your vote counts
Bosnia and Herzegovina has one of the most complex political systems in Europe, with a three-member presidency, two entities, and an electoral system deeply tied to the country’s ethnic composition.
With this campaign, we want to inform and engage the Bosnian diaspora to register and vote in the upcoming elections and the ones after, a community that is, remarkably, larger than Bosnia and Herzegovina’s own population.
Yet very few members of the diaspora are currently registered to vote, not out of a lack of interest, but simply because many don’t know whether they’re eligible to vote, or how to register.
At the same time, we want to inform and engage a wider audience on the topic of Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead of the elections, showing just how unique and compelling this country’s politics really are.
